This whole controversy began when Shilpa Shinde recently joined comedians Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s YouTube channel. There, she admitted that 10 years ago, she had filed a false case of sexual harassment against ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ producer Sanjay Kohli. Shilpa said that at that time, she had no other option. The producers were pressuring her to sign a contract, after which she would not be able to work with any other production house. Serious allegations were made against the makers in 2016 Shilpa Shinde played the role of Angoori Bhabhi in the TV show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain in 2015. A year later, Shilpa filed a complaint making several serious allegations against the makers and producer and left the show. Shilpa Shinde recently said during a podcast, “No one knows this. I am not afraid to speak the truth now. I had filed a sexual harassment case against my producer because I had no other option left. I did this to resolve the contract dispute and later, by reaching a settlement, I got out of that situation.” Shilpa further claimed that she herself comes from a law background and the police said that if an FIR is to be registered, serious allegations must be written.
