Hafiz Saeed plotted Pahalgam attack from Pakistan:NIA files supplementary chargesheet; accused of waging war against India

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Pahalgam terror attack case, naming Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief and The Resistance Front (TRF) founder Hafiz Saeed. In the chargesheet, the NIA has accused Saeed of waging war against India, involvement in a cross-border conspiracy, and playing a role in the Pahalgam attack. He has been named as an accused in his personal capacity as well, with multiple provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) invoked against him. The agency said the supplementary chargesheet forms part of its earlier 1,597-page filing.
