She herself has admitted that she has indulged in all kinds of intoxicants. Not only this, the actress has also claimed that a drug budget was made for TV industry parties, and sometimes even shoots had to be canceled. Actress Narayani Shastri recently spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast. The actress said that drugs were the reason for the actor’s death. She said, ‘Why he committed suicide is beyond my understanding. But I think drugs are the reason. Earlier, our industry used to have a party budget for how much alcohol would be budgeted. Now there is a budget for drugs.’ The actress further said, ‘Whether you like it or not, I myself was shocked to see that there is a budget for drugs. That’s why I stopped partying many years ago. Now those parties are not like ‘let’s dance to a song’, now parties are completely different.’ The actress has claimed that drugs are not openly used in big parties of the TV industry, but they are openly used in small parties. She said, ‘Everyone knows that everyone does drugs. I personally don’t know who does drugs, but I have been to places where I have seen people taking drugs.’ Further, the actress has said, ‘I am not trying to become Sati Savitri, I have done all kinds of intoxicants in my life. But I did it as an experiment to see what happens by doing this. Otherwise, if you get into drugs, you can’t do anything in life.’ Narayani further said, ‘Cocaine is addictive. I think cocaine is eating up the industry. It’s eating up the world because everyone does drugs. I know very few people who don’t do drugs.
