Shweta Tiwari questions Abhijeet after Dharmendra’s resignation:Says, ‘When will Punjab’s Education minister step down?’

Actor Shweta Tiwari has questioned CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. On Saturday, she shared a video of Dipke on her Instagram Story, responding to his remarks about the ongoing student movement. In the video, Dipke says, “Now that Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned, if we continue to stand united and keep up the pressure, many more leaders can be forced to step down.” Reacting to the clip, Shweta wrote, “So, when is Punjab’s Education Minister resigning? And CJP, when are you planning to protest there?” Calls for Harjot Bains’ resignation grow Shweta Tiwari’s post comes amid growing demands for the resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains over alleged irregularities in the recently held pharmacy recruitment examination and several paper leak cases reported in the state over the past few years. Responding to the opposition’s demand, Bains said that if his resignation would help improve Punjab’s education system, he was willing to step down immediately. Sharing a GIF, he wrote, “In one move, the Modi government may not have defeated its opponents, but it certainly managed to upset many of its own supporters. #Masterstroke.” In response to a question from an X user, Ranvir said that according to him, Dharmendra Pradhan should have resigned, but this decision should have been taken before the situation on the streets deteriorated. He wrote that now it seems that instead of supporters, the voices of the protesters were heard. Meanwhile, actress Tara Deshpande reacted by re-posting an X post by Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu. She wrote that Dharmendra Pradhan handled many departments during his long tenure and played a key role in implementing the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which provided LPG connections to low-income families. Tara further wrote that he oversaw reforms like PAHAL Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG subsidy and the Hydrocarbon Exploration and Licensing Policy (HELP). He also stated that the work done in managing the steel industry during the pandemic and in the education sector, excluding the NEET paper leak case, should also be taken into consideration. According to her, the decision regarding Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation should be respected. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post on Saturday. Deepke thanked CJI Suryakant for Pradhan’s resignation. Deepke said – If you had not called us cockroaches, the youth would not have been on the streets. Pradhan would not have resigned.
