In the post, Isha claimed she had stayed silent for a long time because she was afraid of Badshah’s influence and power, but said she could no longer continue living a pretence. Her message also appeared to hint at an impending divorce. Sharing the note on her official social media account, Isha wrote, “Some battles leave wounds that cannot be seen. I remained silent for a very long time because I was scared. I believed my husband had so much influence, power, and resources that I stood no chance against him. I kept telling myself that staying silent was the safest choice.” Further, Esha wrote, ‘Silence is never accepted; it was just an attempt to save one’s existence. Today I am choosing courage, not fear. Notably, after Isha Rikhi’s post came to light, many close friends and acquaintances are sharing posts in her support.
