Umar un Nabi was Red Fort blast mastermind:He was inside the car that exploded; 11 people died in the blast

The NIA has identified Umar un Nabi as the mastermind behind the terror conspiracy linked to the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, 2025. According to the NIA charge sheet, Nabi was in the vehicle used in the attack and died in the explosion. The agency said Nabi, alias Pinda, and Rahul Bhat had been trying to revive the defunct Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) module since early 2022. The NIA has described the module as a new form linked to Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent. The blast took place near the Red Fort at around 6:50 pm, killing 11 people and injuring 29 others. It also caused major damage to nearby property and vehicles. These details are part of the NIA’s investigation and charge sheet that surfaced on September 9. NIA said radical literature was also found The agency said Nabi and other members of the module had radical literature, which they shared among themselves. The material promoted armed struggle and violence. During the investigation, documents titled “Definition of Jihad”, “The Requirements of Jihad”, “The 21 Aims and Objectives of Jihad”, “39 Ways to Serve and Participate in Jihad”, and “44 Ways to Support Jihad” were examined. Funding, weapons, and meetings The NIA alleged that Nabi played a key role in raising funds for the module’s members and materials linked to the conspiracy. He was also allegedly involved in procuring illegal weapons and arranging hideouts. According to the agency, meetings were held in Jammu and Kashmir and the Delhi-NCR region.
