Bollywood actor Raza Murad has revealed that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shouted at actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra while working on his films. In an interview with Vicky Lalwani, Raza Murad spoke about Bhansali’s anger on set and his approach towards filmmaking. He said that Bhansali’s anger is connected to his work and his dedication to getting things right. According to Raza Murad, Bhansali has not only shouted at his assistants but has also lost his temper with leading actors. He compared the filmmaker with veteran actor-director Raj Kapoor, describing both as highly dedicated to their work and perfectionists. He gets angry when the work is not understood Raza Murad said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not angry all the time. His temper rises when someone repeatedly fails to understand what he is saying or thinking. This anger is not caused by enmity or a personal grudge against anyone; it stems from work not being done properly. He said that Bhansali is concerned only with his work on set and wants the scene he has envisioned to appear on screen exactly as he imagined it. Bhansali has also shouted at major stars When Raza Murad was asked in an interview whether he had seen Bhansali lose his temper with big stars, he confirmed it. He said he had himself seen Bhansali shouting at leading actors such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Bhansali always manages to achieve whatever he wants, no matter what it takes. Raza Murad himself has worked with Bhansali in superhit films such as ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Raj Kapoor and Bhansali are both perfectionists Raza Murad compared Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s way of working with that of Raj Kapoor. He has worked with Raj Kapoor in Prem Rog, Ram Teri Ganga Maili and Henna. Raza Murad said both legendary directors were perfectionists. For both of them, time, shifts, money, set expenses and the actors’ dates did not matter. Even if four days’ work took eight days to complete, they did not mind, as long as the scene was right. Both came to the set solely with the intention of working. Bhansali’s Love War to release in 2027 Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently busy with the post-production of his next film, ‘Love War’.
