Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 45th Foundation Day celebration of ‘Art of Living’ to be held in Bengaluru on May 10. PM Modi will be the chief guest at the event. He will also address the program. The PM will also inaugurate a new ‘Meditation Temple’ at the Art of Living International Center. Along with this, he will also launch schemes related to mental health, rural development, and nature conservation. The event will be held at the Art of Living International Center on the occasion of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s 70th birthday. People from more than 182 countries will join this program. Some people will also join online. Key Highlights of the Program Special Discussion on May 25 and 26 A special discussion on ‘Prisoner Welfare and Policy Reforms’ is being organized on May 25 and 26. Its main goal is to consider ways to improve the prison system and to demonstrate how ‘Art of Living’ programs have brought about a positive change in the behavior and rehabilitation of prisoners. Along with this, the ‘BIMSTEC Youth Leadership Exchange’ program will also be held in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs. In this, young leaders from all seven BIMSTEC countries will come together at the ‘Art of Living International Center’, where they will be given special training to hone their leadership skills. How the Art of Living Began Established in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, ‘Art of Living’ has today become a global, volunteer-based humanitarian and educational organization. Art of Living has so far impacted the lives of over 100 crore people.
