South superstar Ram Charan arrived in Bhopal on Saturday for the music launch event of his upcoming film ‘Peddi’. During this, he was asked to describe Indian cricketers in a few words. In the conversation, he mistakenly associated fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah with football. After the video went viral, Ram Charan apologied on social media, calling it a mistake made in the crowd and excitement. Now, another post related to this matter is rapidly going viral on social media. It is being claimed that Bumrah shared Ram Charan’s photo and wrote on his Instagram story, ‘No problem Yash Bhai, I am a big fan of yours… eagerly waiting for ‘Toxic’.’ However, this post is completely fake and edited. Bumrah did not post any such story. Many users are sharing it as satire and a meme. Called cricketers ‘Legend’ and ‘Fire’ Actually, Ram Charan had arrived in Bhopal for the music launch of his upcoming film ‘Peddi’. AR Rahman and Janhvi Kapoor were also present with him at this event. During the event, Ram Charan was asked to describe Indian cricketers in a few words. He described Sachin Tendulkar’s career as a ‘long and great journey’. He called Mahendra Singh Dhoni ‘calm and cool’, while Rohit Sharma was described as ‘everyone’s favorite person’. When Virat Kohli’s name came up, he just said one word: ‘Fire’. During the event, when Jasprit Bumrah’s name came up, he said, ‘Bumrah ji, I am a very big fan of yours. I love football very much and you are taking football so far. Love you sir.’ Apologised, called himself forgetful After the video surfaced, Ram Charan shared a post on social media platform X and apologised to Bumrah. He wrote, “Uff… I sometimes forget things with names. I apologise to Jasprit Bumrah ji for this mix-up. Amidst so much excitement and a huge crowd, it was just a human error.” Ram Charan further wrote that he respects Bumrah very much and appreciates his game. Know about the film ‘Peddi’ The film ‘Peddi’ is a big pan-India film, whose star cast came to Bhopal to promote its music. In this film, Janhvi Kapoor is in the lead role alongside Ram Charan, while the music has been composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Ever since the success of Ram Charan’s previous film ‘RRR’, there has been a lot of interest among audiences in North India regarding his films. This film will be released on June 4.
