A new revelation has emerged from the CCTV footage investigation related to the fire that broke out in a five-storey building in Tughlakabad, Delhi, on June 12. The footage shows a minor girl seen entering before the fire, and as soon as she came out, an explosion occurred. Based on the CCTV video, the police apprehended the minor. She confessed that Sarita (27), a resident of Girinagar, Govind Puri, had incited her to do so. It is alleged that Sarita gave her petrol and matches to set fire to the scooter of Deepak, who lived on the fifth floor, over a money dispute. Sarita was doing all this at the behest of two other accused, Niranjan (33) and his brother Rajkumar (27). The trio had allegedly planned to set the fire to settle a personal vendetta. Police have arrested all four.
