While most children who are aged around 10-year-old spend their time playing with toys and mobile games, a boy named Riyansh Dabhi from Surat has taken a remarkable step into the world of cinema. The young talent has secured a significant role alongside Bollywood star Ajay Devgn in the upcoming film Dhamaal 4. The shooting of the much-awaited film has been completed and the movie is expected to hit cinemas next month. Riyansh’s achievement has become a matter of pride not only for his family but also for Surat and Gujarat, with the young actor earning recognition at a national level even before the film’s release. Acting talent spotted at just four years old Riyansh’s journey to Bollywood began long before he stepped in front of a camera. When he was just four years old, his mother was helping his elder sister learn acting and dialogue delivery at home. During those practice sessions, it was Riyansh who unexpectedly stole the spotlight. Family members noticed that the young boy could quickly imitate expressions, memorise dialogues and perform scenes with remarkable ease. In fact, he would often correct his sister and explain how a particular dialogue or expression should be delivered. Recognising his natural flair for acting, his mother, Bhartiben, realised that her son possessed a rare talent. From that point onwards, she dedicated herself to nurturing his abilities and worked tirelessly to help him find opportunities in the entertainment industry. Exceptional memory helped him stand out in auditions Riyansh began making an impression from the very start of his acting journey. Within just a few auditions, he managed to secure a place among the top shortlisted candidates, drawing attention with his natural screen presence and confidence. One of his biggest strengths is his sharp memory and ability to quickly grasp instructions. Whether it is a lengthy dialogue or a demanding expression, Riyansh is known for picking it up almost instantly on set. His ability to learn and perform with ease has helped him secure roles in several popular television productions. From television serials to major advertising campaigns Riyansh won appreciation for his portrayal of Jaggu in the popular television serial ‘Imlie’. He further gained recognition among viewers through his role as Lord Ganesha in ‘Shiv Shakti’, where his performance earned praise for its innocence and authenticity. He also appeared in a leading role in the series ‘Jyada Mat Ud’, adding another notable project to his growing portfolio. Apart from television serials, Riyansh has built an impressive presence in the advertising industry. He has featured in campaigns for more than 15 well-known brands, steadily establishing himself as one of the most promising young talents in the entertainment world. Young actor shares memorable experience with Ajay Devgn Riyansh’s time on the sets of ‘Dhamaal 4’ was made even more special by the warm bond he developed with Bollywood star Ajay Devgn. According to those present during the shoot, the young actor shared a natural rapport with the veteran actor, creating several memorable moments on set. Speaking about the experience, Riyansh said that he is currently studying in Class 4 and described working in ‘Dhamaal 4’ as a dream come true. He said, “It was a magical experience for me. I learnt a lot during the shoot and enjoyed every moment of being part of such a big film.” ‘Ajay sir taught me acting through expressions’ Riyansh said working alongside Ajay Devgn was a valuable learning experience. According to the young actor, the Bollywood star regularly guided him during scenes and helped him understand the finer details of acting. He said, “Ajay sir would teach me how to deliver dialogues and perform naturally in front of the camera. Sometimes he would explain an entire expression with just a look or a gesture, and I would immediately understand what he wanted from the scene.” He added that he dreams of becoming an action hero one day and hopes to follow in the footsteps of his mentor. Memorable shooting experiences at sea and behind the wheel Recalling some of the most exciting moments from the film’s shoot, Riyansh said one particular sequence remains fresh in his memory. He stated, “In one scene, Ajay sir and I are sitting in a boat in the middle of the sea. During the sequence, he falls into the water and we have to rescue him. Shooting in the open sea was a completely different experience and I enjoyed it a lot.” The young actor also revealed that another action-packed sequence involved a treasure hunt, where the characters travel by car in search of hidden treasure. He added, “There is a scene where I get to perform a car-drifting sequence. Filming it was incredibly exciting and unlike anything I had done before.” With the shooting now complete, Riyansh said he is eagerly waiting to see himself on the big screen when the film releases later this year. Young actor keeps studies a top priority While many child actors struggle to balance education and work commitments, Riyansh has managed to maintain an impressive balance between his studies and acting career. He is currently a Class 4 student at P.R. Khatiwala School in Surat and continues to give equal importance to his education despite his growing success in the entertainment industry. According to his family, Riyansh never allows his shooting schedule to affect his academic responsibilities. During breaks between scenes or whenever he gets free time on set, he is often seen sitting with his school books, completing assignments or revising lessons instead of spending time on mobile games or other distractions. His disciplined approach and effective time management have earned praise from both teachers and family members. Riyansh’s journey demonstrates that with dedication and proper planning, it is possible to pursue one’s dreams without compromising on education. ‘My son now shares the screen with stars we once admired from afar’ Behind Riyansh’s remarkable rise in the entertainment industry is the unwavering dedication and years of hard work put in by his mother, Bhartiben Dabhi. Speaking with pride, she recalled that Riyansh’s journey began when he was just four-and-a-half years old. She said, “The family recognised Riyansh’s talent at a very young age and decided to support his dreams wholeheartedly. What started as a child’s natural interest in acting gradually turned into a serious pursuit, with Riyansh attending auditions, learning new skills and gaining experience with every opportunity”. Reflecting on his achievement of working alongside Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, Bhartiben said it still feels unbelievable. She added, “The people we once admired from a distance are now working with my son, guiding him and encouraging him on set. It is a proud and emotional moment for our entire family.” ‘A proud moment to see my son work with top stars’ Riyansh’s mother, Bhartiben Dabhi, said her son’s success is the result of his hard work and blessings. She shared that it feels special to see him working alongside Ajay Devgn in a big-budget film like ‘Dhamaal 4’. She added, “The Bollywood industry is a place where ordinary people often need permission even to approach big stars. However, my son has been fortunate enough to sit comfortably with leading actors on set, spending long hours interacting, joking and learning during the shoot”. Bhartiben further said, “I now receives calls from leading casting directors, which shows how much recognition Riyansh has earned at such a young age”. She also mentioned that Riyansh has worked with well-known filmmakers such as Indra Kumar and Rohit Shetty. With the film scheduled for release in July, she described it as a moment of immense pride for the entire family.
