Alia Bhatt’s action thriller ‘Alpha’ to release on July 3::Says, ‘Film challenged me in new ways, I loved every moment’

Yash Raj Films’ upcoming action thriller Alpha is set to hit theatres worldwide on July 3. Starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the lead, the film marks the first female-led installment in YRF’s Spy Universe. Ahead of its release, Alia described the project as one of the most memorable experiences of her career. Sharing her excitement, Alia said, “Alpha was one of the most enjoyable films I’ve ever worked on. Stepping into a world of action and espionage was a completely new experience for me. The film pushed me in many new ways as an actor, and I loved every moment of the journey.” The actress said what makes Alpha truly special is that the story is driven by two women. “We rarely get to see an action film where two female characters lead the narrative. Alpha goes beyond gender, it’s about courage, strength and a fearless mindset,” she said. Alia also praised the entire team behind the film, saying everyone, from director Shiv Rawail and the cast to the action crew—was deeply passionate about the project. “There was an incredible energy on set. I looked forward to going to work every day and genuinely enjoyed the entire shooting experience,” she added.
