US police arrests Patidar businessman’s alleged killer:Accused killed him in front of his daughter on August 20

Suresh Patel, originally from Mehsana and a resident of Jackson, Tennessee, for the past 30 years, was shot dead during a robbery at his liquor store. Local police have now arrested a suspect in connection with the killing. A video of the arrest has surfaced, showing the armed suspect attempting to flee after spotting police officers. The officers chased him, brought him to the ground and took him into custody. The suspect reportedly opened fire during the incident, killing Suresh in front of his daughter. Police have also found that the arrested suspect is allegedly linked to the murder of a Punjabi man. Jackson police identify suspect through CCTV after Suresh Patel murder The City of Jackson, Tennessee, Police Department shared details of the case through a Facebook post, stating that officers had been searching for the attacker after the August 20 murder of businessman Suresh Patel in Jackson. Police reviewed CCTV footage from the incident and identified a suspect. On the afternoon of August 23, Jackson police spotted the suspect driving a car and attempted to stop him. The suspect allegedly tried to flee, leading to a crash, after which officers caught and arrested him. On August 20, Suresh and his daughter were preparing to close the store at night when a masked man entered and allegedly carried out a robbery. Although Suresh did not resist after seeing that the robber was armed, the assailant reportedly opened fire while fleeing, killing him in front of his daughter. Suspect allegedly linked to murder of Punjabi youth Dinash Suthar, a local leader from Aakhaj village in Mehsana said that the accused allegedly killed a Punjabi youth after murdering Suresh Patel. He added that the suspect was subsequently arrested by local police following their prompt action.
