Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha suffered a spinal fracture in an accident in Bali. According to news agency IANS, Nusrat is currently admitted to a hospital in Bali and is under doctors’ observation. On Friday, Sanchita Trivedi, the publicist for Nushrratt Bharuccha’s team, said doctors would perform surgery on her spine after further tests. Preparations are under way to bring her from Bali to Mumbai by air ambulance for treatment. She will undergo surgery after reaching Mumbai. According to the team, Nushrratt will need time to rest and recover because of her injury and surgery. This could also affect her work-related commitments in the coming weeks. The team has urged everyone to respect her privacy and allow her to focus on her treatment. It may be recalled that around a week before the accident, Nushrratt had shared some holiday pictures on social media. Nushrratt joins Tiger Shroff’s film Nushrratt is also reported to have joined the cast of Tiger Shroff’s next film. This will be Tiger and Nushrratt’s first on-screen pairing. A source told Pinkvilla, “The team wanted an actress who could bring strength and emotional depth to the story. The injury was so severe that she needed stitches on her face and near her eyebrow. A video of her also emerged afterwards, showing her getting stitches. She fell ill during a shoot in August 2021 Earlier, Nushrratt Bharuccha had suddenly fallen ill while shooting in August 2021. She was shooting for Luv Ranjan’s film. She had become extremely tired after working continuously for around 23-24 days. On the day of the incident, she felt severely dizzy and was unable to stand or speak properly. She was subsequently taken to Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. Her blood pressure had fallen to 65/55 there. After examining her, doctors said she had suffered a severe vertigo attack. Excessive stress and fatigue were cited as the reason. She was discharged after treatment. Doctors advised her to rest for 15 days. The film’s shooting was also halted because of her. However, she said that her family had respected all religions since her childhood. According to Nusrat, she has visited gurudwaras and churches besides temples.
