There is good news for ordinary passengers travelling by train. The Supreme Court has ordered that, from 27 October, every ticket purchased at a railway station window (counter) will also include accident insurance. The court said that just as passengers who book tickets online receive insurance protection, poor and ordinary passengers who buy tickets at counters should also get this benefit. If the Railways fails to implement this, direct action will be taken against the Railway Board.
