A Jhansi court issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant on Saturday. Sixteen years ago, on the show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’, Sawant humiliated 24-year-old Laxman Prasad Ahirwar, a resident of Jhansi, by calling him impotent. Laxman died after being traumatised by the incident. A case was registered against Sawant following a complaint by his mother. Sawant had not been appearing in court despite being summoned. On the non-bailable warrant, Sawant said, “Even if I have to go to jail, I will. I was only a host; I said whatever the channel told me to say.” The next hearing in the case will be held at the CAW (FTC) court on 1 December. Rakhi said: I do not know that boy Rakhi Sawant released a video on social media and said, “Hello, you must all be hearing the news about me. You must know who is behind this, right? If I have to go to jail for the people of the country, I will. Jai Hind, Jai Bhim, Jai Maharashtra, and Vande Mataram. This is a 2010 case, and I have nothing to do with it.” “I do not even know this boy. I do not even remember; I have lost my memory. This man had a contract with the channel. After the show ended, that boy died of fever in hospital somewhere, and the blame fell on the channel and us. We have nothing to do with him.” Rakhi said, ‘Is the law only for you?’ Rakhi said, “I support children, students and Gen Z. I am a celebrity, and someone wants to exploit our name and dig up buried corpses. They are trying to threaten me with jail. Is the law only for you? Is the law blind? I respect every law and have always stood by the law. I stand with Jhansi Police and with the law in Jhansi.” A quarrel broke out between husband and wife seven months after their marriage DGC Crime officer Mridulkant Shrivastava said that Laxman Ahirwar, who lived in the Toriya neighbourhood of Premnagar, sold vegetables from a handcart. He married Anita, a resident of Rajgarh, on 19 February 2010. About seven months after the wedding, a dispute broke out between the couple. Anita then began living at her parental home. Anita had alleged that one of her husband’s relatives had improper intentions. She complained to Laxman about this, but he paid no attention. Anita also alleged that Laxman assaulted her after drinking alcohol. Laxman appeared on a television show with his wife In 2010, the couple’s dispute reached the television show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’. Laxman travelled to Mumbai with his mother Savitri, maternal aunt Pooja and maternal uncle Balbir. The family travelled by train to Delhi and then flew from there to Mumbai. Laxman’s mother, Savitri, had told the police that Rakhi had humiliated her son Laxman during the show and called him impotent. After the programme was broadcast on television on 23 October 2010, her son became afraid even to appear in public. He could not sleep at night and had stopped eating. When his mother asked him, he would say that Rakhi Sawant had ruined his life and that he no longer wanted to live. According to the family, Laxman was admitted to a medical college on 9 November 2010 after his condition deteriorated, where he died on 10 November. Rakhi Sawant is often embroiled in controversies Had called Kangana a “gutter mouth” About three months ago, Rakhi Sawant called actress and MP Kangana Ranaut a gutter mouth. This led to a heated exchange between them on social media. Rakhi had then said in a video, “You have been given Z-category security, so you are saying anything. If you go among the general public without security, you will understand the public’s anger. You will no longer have the public’s support.” Kangana had replied that she had not targeted an entire generation but had opposed the “obscene and immoral behaviour” seen on the streets. She said she did not want children to be sexualised prematurely. The controversy began with a post on Kangana Ranaut’s Instagram Story, in which she questioned the young women who took part in the gathering at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Kangana wrote that some women want to imitate independent, career-oriented women but do not fulfil the responsibilities that come with that freedom. She had said, ‘My kiss made Mika melodious’ Around nine months ago, Rakhi Sawant commented on singer Mika. During a podcast, Rakhi Sawant said, “Mika did not even have a voice in his throat before. The day he kissed me, his voice became melodious. Mika bhaji, don’t take it badly; you know the truth.” Rakhi Sawant said, “He used to sing, ‘Saawan mein lag gayi aag, dil mera haaye…’ After kissing me, he started singing, ‘Hud dabang… dabang… dabang.’ In other words, Mika found his voice after kissing Rakhi.” This video of Rakhi Sawant has now gone viral. The incident in which Rakhi Sawant was forcibly kissed dates back to 2006. Mika Singh had hosted a birthday party, where he lost his composure and forcibly kissed Rakhi Sawant. Everyone present at the party, including Rakhi, was shocked by Mika’s sudden act. Rakhi remained quiet at the party but later created a ruckus. She had an FIR registered against the singer on 11 June 2006. A case was registered against Mika Singh under Sections 354 and 323 of the IPC. The matter was resolved by mutual agreement around 17 years later. Know About Rakhi Sawant
