Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday described the RSS as a male-dominated cult that is against the Constitution. In a post on X, he alleged that the RSS believes women are the property of men. “I believe in Shiv-Shakti. That is why I enjoy fighting them so much. The best part is that many of their own women are on my side,” he said. Rahul described his ideology as “Shiv-Shakti” and accused the RSS of promoting gender inequality. Alleged violence on 10 October Rahul’s latest remarks are part of his recent attacks on the RSS. On 10 October, amid political tensions, he accused RSS workers of violence against women and young people. ‘Delhi Police itself has turned to hooliganism’ Amid tensions over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Rahul wrote on X, “Amit Shah’s Delhi Police itself has turned to hooliganism. It is openly allowing and encouraging the real goons of the RSS-BJP to commit violence against women and young people.” Rahul has also targeted RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, calling him a “villain” in the current political climate. He appealed to protesters to continue their agitation. “I have been fighting Narendra Modi and the RSS for more than a decade. Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Gyanesh Kumar and Ajit Doval are the villains in this story. The space available to them is gradually shrinking. We are making it shrink,” he wrote on X. Warned officials Directly challenging officials, Rahul said, “Arrest all of us. We have surrounded you and will not back down. Remember my words: we already have the necessary information.” He added, “We will protect our Constitution. Young people of India, I am proud of you. Keep protesting.” ‘Attempts being made to create Bangladesh- and France-like situations in India’, says Bhagwat The RSS celebrated Vijayadashami at its headquarters in Nagpur on Tuesday. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat performed the traditional weapons worship and addressed the gathering. Bhagwat said attempts were being made to create situations similar to those in Bangladesh and France in India. He said some forces around the world wanted to weaken India, not to improve conditions by changing the government, but to install their own proxies. He added that some people wanted to divide India and Hindu society and had the support of certain leaders.
