South cinema actor Junior NTR is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, May 20. On this occasion, the first glimpse (teaser) of his upcoming film ‘Dragon’ has been released. In the film, NTR is seen in the role of a dangerous assassin. Meanwhile, thousands of fans gathered outside the actor’s house in Hyderabad since early morning. NTR came out of his house and greeted his fans. The film ‘Dragon’ is based on the Opium War According to the released glimpse video, the film’s story is woven around the Global Opium War. The teaser begins with a background voice-over. It states that the British originally came to India for opium cultivation, which produces heroin. While in India, the British controlled the two main places where the cultivation of prohibited drugs was highest. This included Afghanistan and the region of Thailand, Laos, and Burma. After the British left, a war began between two main groups, the ‘Afghan Trading Company’ and the ‘Golden Triangle’, over control of the opium business. NTR seen in a dangerous look In this film, Jr. NTR is playing the role of Luger, the biggest shooter and assassin of ‘Afghan Trading Company’, who is also known as ‘Dragon’. His look in the glimpse appears quite aggressive and powerful. The video also features one of his dialogues. In it, he says, “When I close my eyes to sleep, I don’t see the faces of those I’ve killed. I only see the faces of the remaining enemies. Don’t even accidentally come into my dreams!” Anil Kapoor is playing the role of Narcotics Chief Bollywood’s senior actor Anil Kapoor is also in a lead role in the film. He is playing the character of Raghuveer Rathore, the Chief of Narcotics Bureau in the film. Meanwhile, Biju Menon will be seen in the role of Jaleel Rahman, the Head of Afghanistan Logistics. Besides them, actors like Rukmini Vasanth, Ashutosh Rana, Khushbu Sundar, Rajeev Kanakala, and Siddhant Gupta will also be seen in the film. This film was earlier scheduled to be released on June 25 this year, but the makers have now postponed its release date. Now, the film will be released in cinemas on June 11, 2027, next year.
