The peaceful protest of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) against paper leaks and irregularities in examinations began on June 6 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. A large number of students have joined this movement at the appeal of CJP founder Abhijit Dipke. This protest has also received support from Bollywood. Actor Atul Kulkarni has apologised to the youth for the mistakes of his generation, while Richa Chadha, Kunika Sadanand, Prakash Raj, and Sonam Wangchuk have also supported this student campaign. Richa Chadha said – I am with you Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has openly supported the Cockroach Janata Party by posting from her social media handle. The actress wrote, ‘I am currently in beautiful Auckland, which probably has the cleanest air in the world. But my heart is in Delhi. My dear Delhi – the city of my childhood, my school and college… where there are big parks and old, good trees. I send love to the youth of my country. I hope you will become true patriots instead of showy ones. Be kind, calm, and wise. I am with you wholeheartedly. Atul Kulkarni Apologizes to Youth Actor Atul Kulkarni also supported this protest by the youth through social media. Apologizing to the youth, he wrote that his generation and those before him did not fulfill their responsibilities properly. They made mistakes and left a pile of challenges for the youth, which today’s generation now has to face. Atul told the youth that he stands with full hope and asked them to rebuild this country with integrity. Kunika said – The country will run on aware citizens Actress Kunika Sadanand supported this movement by writing a post on her X account. She wrote that democracy does not belong to any one party, leader, ideology or religion. It belongs to those citizens who think independently and ask questions fearlessly. Kunika said that democracy is strengthened not by thoughtless loyalty, but by awareness and accountability. She emphasized that real change is determined not by speeches, but by work and results. When voices are not heard, such methods are necessary Kunika has also shared a video on social media. In the video, she said that the Cockroach Janata Party has raised issues that were not being heard. When people’s voices are not heard, such methods have to be adopted to convey their message so that the message reaches the sleeping system. She said that she is proud that students are coming out and supporting this. This campaign has given people the courage to raise their voices. Kunika also asked the public whether it is necessary to change the entire system or if changing only the leadership will suffice. Prakash Raj and Sonam Wangchuk also with the movement This movement has also received support from social activist Sonam Wangchuk and actor Prakash Raj. Sonam Wangchuk had already released a video stating that if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan did not resign by June 5, he would also become a part of this protest. There is widespread anger among the youth over the increasing cases of paper leaks, following which CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke had appealed to all the youth of the country to join this peaceful movement.
