Chaos broke out at a Congress event in Patna on Sunday when a man interrupted party president Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech at Bapu Sabhagar, saying, “Modi ji is not going to leave. The Modi government will not be removed until there is a revolt in the country.” Kharge reacted angrily and made a remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father, following which people present at the venue beat up the man who had made the statement. Kharge was addressing a ceremony marking the 139th birth anniversary of Dr Sri Krishna Singh, Bihar’s first Chief Minister. Prime Minister Modi’s mother was abused in Bihar Prime Minister Modi’s mother was abused during Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Rights March in Darbhanga, Bihar, on 27 August 2025. Bihar was shut down in protest, and demonstrations were held. BJP and Congress workers also clashed in Patna. Several vehicles were vandalised. Kharge says socialist Nitish has gone and sat in the lap of the BJP-RSS Kharge said that Nitish Kumar had moved forward with socialist ideology, but has now gone and sat in the lap of the BJP-RSS. When a person becomes weak, they lose faith in their ideology. Everyone attacked us, yet Rahul Gandhi, my leader, and I are alive and fighting. We are dying for the people. Peace will not come to this country until the RSS ideology is eliminated. These are the people who disturb the peace. Even today, the RSS is full of people who practise untouchability. Shri Babu was a hero who strengthened democracy in Bihar The Congress national president said that Shri Babu was a hero who strengthened democracy in modern Bihar. Land reform laws have been introduced in many places today, and Indira Gandhi did a great deal of work towards that. The first Congress government in Bihar was formed in 1937 under the leadership of Shri Krishna Babu. After this, a government was formed in Bihar in 1947 in independent India. During his tenure as chief minister, the zamindari system was abolished, and land reform and the Consolidation of Holdings Act were introduced. Collusion between the Election Commission and the Modi government Mallikarjun Kharge said that if some work was done during Shri Babu’s tenure or any progress was made under Nehru’s rule, BJP leaders claimed that they had done it. Instead of talking about the present, BJP leaders go back to the Nehru-Indira era. Recent events have shown that there is a major nexus between the Election Commission and the Modi government. After Gyanesh Kumar took charge, Prime Minister Modi brought in such a law that they could get away with anything-even twelve murders. The CEC selection committee used to have three members. The Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition were included along with the Chief Justice. But the Modi government has now removed the Chief Justice and brought in a minister instead. We had already detected several of their mistakes. Rahul Gandhi pointed out the mistakes 14 times in 10 months and highlighted Gyanesh Kumar’s errors. The Bihar government is a government of thieves. There is a government of thieves everywhere. Those who steal must be taught a lesson.
