Diwali is a festival of sharing happiness with our loved ones—a time to illuminate our homes and bring hearts closer together. However, there are also people around us who find it difficult to enjoy festival due to challenging circumstances. Dainik Bhaskar’s initiative, ‘Sarthak Deepawali’, reminds us every year that light does not come from lamps alone; sometimes, even a small act of kindness can brighten someone’s entire life. In this spirit, many of us give gifts to those in need every year. But often, these gifts arrive on the day of Diwali or after, when festival preparations are already complete or the moment has passed. For someone in need, receiving a gift before Diwali means a great deal. It allows them to use it for their festival preparations and truly include it in their celebrations. To share this message with you, we have created a short film. We hope it inspires you to rethink how you give and helps make someone’s Diwali a little more special this year. We have one small request: please share this film with your family, friends, and loved ones. Who knows—the message you pass along might light a small lamp of kindness in someone else’s heart, spreading that light forward as a smile on someone’s face and hope in someone’s heart. Do share happiness this festival—just a little earlier.
