Salman Khan would return as host for the 20th season of the TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. According to a report by Variety India, he may start shooting for the new season from September 21. Before this, Salman Khan is preparing to complete a major portion of the shooting for director Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming action thriller film. Nayanthara will also be seen in this film. According to sources, the actor’s team is busy coordinating his shooting and show schedules. Shortlisting and auditions for ‘Bigg Boss 20’ are expected to begin soon. Sources say that the show’s makers have contacted several well-known TV personalities, and initial talks are underway. Some contestants from the reality show are also being considered for inclusion in the new season. This initiative is being taken keeping in mind the engagement of OTT viewers. Additionally, some old contestants of the show may also return. More information about the show’s format and contestant list may be revealed in the coming weeks. Notably, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ included contestants like Gaurav Khanna, Farhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, and Baseer Ali. Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be seen in director Apoorva Lakhia’s film ‘Matrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’. Chitrangada Singh is also in this film. Salman is playing the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in the film. The release date of the film has not been decided yet.
