Actress Rashmika Mandanna was surprised by her husband Vijay Deverakonda’s Hindi during a recent interview. When Vijay used the phrase “anivarya karan”, Rashmika asked where he had picked it up from. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently appeared for an interview with journalist Shubhankar Mishra. The two spoke in Hindi during the conversation. While making a point, Vijay used the phrase “anivarya karan”. Rashmika was surprised to hear Vijay use the phrase and said, “Anivarya karan… my God, baby! Where is that coming from?” Vijay explained that he had learned it during his Hindi classes and studied under the CBSE curriculum from Class 1 to Class 10. Hearing this, Rashmika replied, “Oh my God, how many years ago was that?” Vijay then said that the phrase had suddenly come out while he was speaking. Rashmika laughed and said it was “overflowing from within him” and that even he did not know where it had come from. Rashmika Mandanna had responded to trolling over her language It is worth noting that Rashmika recently spoke about the trolling she faced over her accent and language while working in different film industries. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she said that she was not proficient in just one language. Her career has involved adapting herself to different languages and roles. Rashmika had said that she is Kodava and that Kodava Takk is her mother tongue. She said that she considers all languages her own. Speaking about being trolled over her accent, she said that she is now used to hearing people’s opinions. Rashmika said Vijay boosted her confidence Rashmika and Vijay will soon be seen together in the film ‘Ranabali’. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the period drama will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on 16 October. The film has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films. ‘Ranabali’ is Rashmika and Vijay’s first film together after their marriage, in which they will be seen sharing the screen. In an interview with Sudhir Srinivasan, Rashmika said that Vijay had played an important role in boosting her confidence during ‘Geetha Govindam’. Rashmika said that her personality has not changed. She believes in kindness, wants everyone to be happy and works hard to preserve what she has achieved through her work. She said she used to be very underconfident and would even avoid speaking to people or making eye contact. She said that when she saw Vijay in “Geetha Govindam”, she was impressed by his confidence. According to Rashmika, she felt that if she could speak and behave with the same confidence as Vijay, she would want to reach that level in her own life. Rashmika said that Vijay used to tell her, “You are capable of doing far more than you think you are.” She said that even today, she finds it difficult to trust her own abilities, but Vijay’s words have continued to help her move forward. Rashmika said that even today she seeks affirmation from Vijay and feels the need for him to listen to her. She said she does not want to change this and does not think it will change. Rashmika and Vijay had a destination wedding on 26 February near Udaipur in Rajasthan at the ITC Mementos Resort. Their families and close friends attended the wedding. The couple married in two ceremonies following Telugu and Kodava customs. The couple also hosted a star-studded wedding reception in Hyderabad on 4 March.
