She also replied to a user, saying that the film does not portray Muslims negatively, but rather Pakistanis. She praised actor Ranveer Singh’s acting and lauded director Aditya Dhar, saying that the way old Hindi songs were connected to the scenes in the film was fantastic. You should be ashamed.” To this, Shama Mohamed replied, “Muslims have not been wrongly portrayed in this film, but Pakistanis have been. It is wrong to equate the two. People like you tarnish the image of Muslims in India. In India, the film’s gross collection was ₹1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately ₹840 crore. The film also received a tremendous response in foreign markets. Overseas, it earned approximately ₹299.5 crore. It also broke the record of Baahubali 2 by earning over ₹193.06 crore in the USA and Canada.
