Pakistani intruder arrested in JK’S Kathua:Caught near Hiranagar border fencing, aged 60–65; questioning underway

Security forces arrested a Pakistani infiltrator near the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. Officials shared this information on Friday. He was caught near the border fencing in the Bobiya area of the Hiranagar sector. According to sources, the arrested man is approximately 60-65 years old. Security forces took the Pakistani national into custody and began questioning him. They are gathering information about the circumstances of his crossing the border and the purpose of his presence in the area. According to officials, further details regarding his identity and the case are yet to emerge. Hiranagar sector of Kathua is sensitive Being a plain area, Hiranagar has been an infiltration route for terrorists and smugglers. It is an internationally recognised border. Its security in the Jammu region is primarily handled by the BSF. By infiltrating from Hiranagar, terrorists are trying to reach the interior areas of the Jammu and Kashmir Valley.
